The crowning achievement of the English architect Sir Christopher Wren, St. Paul's Cathedral was built between 1675 and 1710 to replace the old St. Paul's, which was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666. At 365 feet high, the dome of the cathedral is the world's second largest after St. Peter's in Rome, as spectacular from inside as outside. I have fun asking people what this is a picture of 99% of everyone I ask says it is a church, the only person to say its a wheel was my nine year old.
